New Year, New DVDs!

With 2012 now in full swing, it's time to give an update on the new workouts that have recently greeted us along with the change in the year. There's been a lot of fitness activity, all intense, exciting, and spectacular.

New workouts include:

Michelle Dozois two new MORE Peak 10 DVDs: More Peak 10 Cardio Strength and More Peak 10 Cardio Interval Burn. If you thought her first two were intense, think again -- when Michelle says MORE, she means MORE! Jack your fitness level up another few notches while achieving major burn and energetic enthusiasm with More Peak 10.

Kelly Coffey-Meyer has added three new workouts to her "30-Minutes to Fitness" Series. Yippee!!!!! Personally, I can't get enough of Kelly's workouts...the more she does, the better she gets. The "30-Minutes to Fitness" DVDs are all fabulous not only because they provide great burn, but because they're so versatile.  On time-crunched days, do just one 30-minute workout and you'll still get a thorough, complete routine. When you have more time, combine both by using the pre-mix menu for an hour-long blast, or go with one of the other pre-mixes for even more variety.

First on the list is 30-Minutes to Fitness Stepboxing. It's been awhile since Kelly has done a DVD featuring her signature workout method, so this is a welcome new addition. Filled with new moves and traditional favorites, this intense workout keeps the interest going throughout while working not only the cardiovascular system, but the core, lower body, and arms (particularly shoulders). 30-Minutes to Fitness Your Best Body has it all -- two complete, total body strength training workouts, plus a variety of pre-mixes including fabulous workouts that also include cardio for circuit training. 30-Minutes to Fitness Start Here is Kelly's first beginner level workout DVD, which is awesome--who better to start with than motivating Kelly? Even though it' s not advanced level, I've included it on the Advanced Workouts website because ... well, because it's Kelly! But also because I've found it's a fabulous workouts for my "in between days" -- days when my body needs a rest, but I just don't want to sit still. When I need to do something, but my body won't benefit from something intense, I turn to Start Here. It's also great for other recovery days, such as when you're just getting over an illness or returning to working out after recovering from an injury (or a hangover ... ahem ... anyway ...)

Alrighty then! On to the next new addition, which is Sylwia Weisenberg's Sculpt Dynamics. This dancey routine combines feel-good sexy moves with intense body sculpting using Tonique's signature method of high rep conditioning. Using only your body weight or very light handweights, you'll sculpt a dancers body of lean, sleek muscles. Sylwia uses a lot of flowing moves to help women feel confident, sexy, and secure in their bodies. Moving with the rhythm, in the privacy of your own home with no one watching, is truly a freeing experience for not only the body, but the mind and the soul as well.

And now for something completely different! Lauren Brooks is at it again with another kettlebell routine. Kettlebell Lightning is perhaps her most versatile workout yet, chock full of foundational moves as well as interesting twists on various exercises. This DVD includes more than  30 foundational kettlebell exercises, four "follow-along" workouts, one 5-minute "Finisher Workout," and more.

More workouts will be coming soon, so check back within the next few weeks!
