TOUGH! TOUGH! TOUGH! So far, URX-MT Cardio Metabolic Circuit with Greg Sims is the most advanced URX-MT yet, and considering that this is an extremely challenging series, that's saying a lot. I haven't yet done them all, though, so stay tuned ...
Even with light weight (I used three pound hand weights since I don't have the malleable sand weights used in the workout), the BURN from this workout is incredible. My legs are still feeling it, hours later--and I know my abs are going to be sore in the morning (yippee!) I could barely get through the lower body burn which opened this workout, but somehow I made it through. It's amazing how much I was able to push myself with Greg's fun and motivating instruction. The effort and sense of accomplishment was well worth it.
Mulitple plie squat variations (with one foot on the Rebounder, heel lifted, the other on the floor for added intensity), dynamic core strenghening throughout, isometric shoulder work, tricep and hamstring combo moves...by the time I was finished I was dripping with sweat, completely exhausted and feeling great.
