I can't believe that it's time already to start thinking about
Amy Bento's fall workout series -- but I just received an email from Amy asking me if I want to be in two of her upcoming workouts. Um, yeah! Of course. Here's the scoop, as Amy described in her
forum:
The Dynamics Series
(Finalized details will be posted when we get closer to the Pre-sale)
DOME DYNAMICS --
This will be an all-
cardio routine using the
Bosu. Yipes! Get your balance geared up for this one. DD will be an athletic, steady state
cardio workout with an abs section, using
Bosu.
STRENGTH DYNAMICS --
SD will be an all-resistance training workout. The actual format will be revealed when Amy formally announces the
presale.
I'm going to be in this one!KETTLE BELL DYNAMICS --
KBD will be an advanced kettle bell training workout, so get your muscles ready.
ABS & STRETCH 2 --Me again! I can't wait to be in this one, because I love the original
Abs & Stretch, and A&S 2 will be same format. Amy's ab routines are the only ones I can effectively use to create lean, long abdominal muscles without the bulk. For some reason, after the birth of my children, I was no longer able to do standard ab work such as crunches without having my mid-section bulking up too much. Has anyone else experienced this? I'd be interested to know. I'm naturally a petite person, so if I have bulky abs, it just looks odd. With Amy's signature standing moves and lengthening exercises, I'm able to work my abs to get defined tone without the bulk. When she asked me to be in A&S 2, I was thrilled. I
can't wait!HI/LO DYNAMICS --
H/L D will be a steady state hi/lo athletic-style
cardio workout. Amy's hi/lo routines are
known for their intensity and fun, so I'm really looking forward to this one (well, in true "
vidiot" style I'm looking forward to them all, but you know what I mean...)
HIP HOP WALK DYNAMICS --
Sounds interesting, but it's tentative (if Amy can fit it into the budget).
HHWD will be a hip hop stylized walking workout. Amy's walking
cardio creation will be easy to follow, motivating, non-impact (which is good news for those who have knee issues, but still want intensity) and
rockin' music. Plus, Amy won't use a lot of space type for this type of workout. It'll be designed for all fitness levels.
